Swimming will not really make you legs any thinner. Swimming is very good if you want to have muscular and healthy legs. Also though it will help you lose wieght and its a great cardio workout. so at least because of the wieght loss that could slim down your legs!

Although swimming is great exercise I really don't believe that it will make your legs really thin. I've been a swimmer for 20 years and although my body type isn't one to be super skinny, I've found running to be the best to tone my body. (and I have swam at nationals and in college so I have been training hard) Vertical kicking helps strengthen your legs as well. Hope this helps some!

i'm not sure about making ur legs thinner but it is good exercise

it should, swimming is one of the best exercises without thinking about it a whole lot.

No not really it just kinda tones the fat and makes your legs much stronger!

yes, because in swiming the most used body part is your legs they are always moving (or should be)

it can, it depends on the workout. i would suggest getting a kickboard and doing alot of kicking
