My friend sits with a childs dummy in her mouth day and night she says its to stop her from smoking but she still smokes so why would someone do that? any ideas?

quitting smoking after so long is really hard.most of the time, you won't exceed the first time.she smokes less when chewing the dummy right? it's probably therapeutic.
