I can't do team sports because i have pkd, and i might get hit, but i really want to lose weight because i am really overweight, so, i need a sport, and i want to do swimming, but i look fat in my bathing suit, should i do it anyway? I don't know what sport to chose. I don't think i am not flexable enough to do palties. Should i do more than 1 sport? I would swim like twice a week for an hour, what else should i do??

I think since you say you are a little overweight, you should get in shape by doing track. i am a gymnast, but it doesnt sound like you would be into that, so i recommend track and if you really like to swim than do it. Being fat is not an excuse for not being able to do what you want to do! Give it a try : )

Swimming is great, unless you can`t swim. Don`t worry too much what others think, you`re in this for you. You could also try racquetball (not expensive) , or bicycling, walking or jogging. The YMCA offers lots of classes, such as aerobics, abs, stationary bike, some dance, plus they have people there to help you. Keep trying things till you find something you enjoy. GOOD LUCK!

Baseball. I recognise plenty of humans who do not like looking baseball on the grounds that they suppose it is so dull to look at. If you fairly realise the sport, or even play it, it is very a laugh to look at. Baseball is a real intellectual sport. If you're any person who does not watch baseball on the grounds that it is "gradual", you must simply watch the highlights.

Running is one good choice. There are so many inspiring stories of weight loss, please check out the forum on runnersworld.com, you will find plenty. I remember one guy saying he dropped from 300 to 200 in less than a year.

hi!

the best sport to lose wieght or get in shape is -Tennis,it just requires you to burn all those calories and have a fit body,it's really good for health

hey,

if you want to swim,swim.i do gymnasatics and i luv it. i think that would be a fine sport for you.if you do gymnastics go to a non-competive gym.
