In 1991, alot of people thought that George Bush Senior made a mistake in ending the ground war in Iraq after just 100 hours. Many felt the troops should have gone all the way to Bahgdad and gotten rid of Saddam then. The administration at the time felt as if Saddam's own people would rise up against him and solve the problem for them. It was a gamble that didn't pay off. Still, George Bush Senior showed quite a bit of restraint. I think the best thing that Dubya has done for his father was show everyone what a wise choice his father made. Does the original Bush Administration look better to you now too?

George Bush the first, was a very good President compared to his son.

He raised taxes on the rich, and when he fought his wars(Iraq and Panama)....he always won!! Bush had international respect that his son only dreams of.

He was the last Republican President I voted for.

Senior bothered to get UN sanctions and a large coalition of forces to make the effort. Junior went it alone after hyping the threat up and confusing the public into believing Saddam was somehow behind 9/11. Yes - Senior wasn't insane like his kid.
