i mostly just google the song i want and then look up the tabs for it....it usually works for me lol

I don't. I read notation. If you are fond of tabs though, there is a freeware program called Power Tab
http://www.power-tab.net/
This program will show you both notation and tablature. They also have an extensive library of tabs available from other users.
There are other programs like this, such as Guitar Pro and Tabledit and you can get free viewers for both of them. Once you download their free viewer, you can access their library of combination notation and tab as well.

All the guitar magazines usually have tabs for hot leads, turnarounds, and entire compositions.

i search google for the artist and name of the song followed by guitar tab:
stand its been awhile guitar tab
then i just click the first one that shows up (if the site hasnt been taken down). usually fretplay or ultimate guitar is where i end up.
