It seems to be out of vogue. Not that I want to be slapped I just never see or hear about anyone doing it.

absolutely not. i think the face slap is one of the most disrespectful things someone can do to a person. it should especially not be brought back now when women have worked so hard for equal rights! i'm no feminist, but we can not cry equality and bring back something like the face slap at the same time, unless of course it then becomes ok for a man to slap a woman's face. but i doubt that would fly in the face of society...

NO HITTING.

It sounds as if you feel all men need to be kept in line - and that women are the ones responsible for keeping them on the straight and narrow. Wrong.
Additionally, why bother staying with a man who is "out of line" to begin with? There's no purpose...it's a lost cause.

No. Hopefully the men that got slapped back then grew up by now.

It's an old Hollywood movie cliche. I don't think it was ever terribly "in vogue."

I was pretty slap-happy in middle school, but I've gotten over that now. Women can rely on their wits to put men in their place.

Out of vogue.... man this section is something else.

I don't slap anybody that I don't want to slap me back. :)

I think having a big brother, or protective father is better than a slap on the face. He is not so inclined to get out of hand..

No because anyone that hits should expect the possibility of getting hit back.

In America ? Are you kidding ? If it should get in style again itll vanish pretty fast, with Americans suing because people look at them the wrong way.

I dont think anybody should put their hands on someone else unless in self defense and yes it still happens-people just dont talk about it as much.like we dont talk about going to the bathroom,we still go but dont advertise it.
