I was sitting in the Lowes parking lot Saturday night with my 8 y.o. and his friend and they were whispering and laughing. Then when this man (who is alone) walks by my son asks "scuse me mister, could you marry my mom cause we are poor and I am hungry". I was horrified, but then I realized, he had to be mine and I was proud. Thank God for children.

I had to have surgery last August and my husband brought the kids up to see me. When they got to the hospital, my nurse came in with a clean gown so I could take a shower and my daughter said "You can keep that. Mom sleeps naked. So does Dad."
