whenever I prepare it, he looks at me in awe like I took a trip to the moon to get it, and asks where did this come from .. when it's been right in front of his face the whole time!

because they are simply clueless most of the time. they dont hear us when we say stuff!! i have told my husband where i put something and 5 minutes later hes like where is it? and i say dont you remember i told you 5 MINUTES AG? and hes like, no, when did you say that? and this is CONSTANTLY HAPPENING. i dont know why i bother saying anything at all. If you want a guy to remember something youre about to tell him, say "bl** job" really loud first, then when he looks at you, tell him what you wanted to say and i guarantee he'll remember that time!!

Maybe your man is just really lazy and hasnt looked in the fridge so he doesnt know. If it's been sitting in front of him the whole time then he's completely crazy and dont take any offence on this. He's just the type of guy who doesnt notice these things!

My husband is the same way. The refrigerator can be full of his favorite things but he relies on me to get it for him. Not only are some men oblivious but they are too reliant on their wives. Make him get his own food. He is a grown man.

By now you should know, "It's a man thing" and yes most of us are like that.
You always will have to be the one to bring it to his attention, place it in front of him and some times even feed him the first bite.

Just say "The magic treat fairy must have dropped that off!"
Now most men just kinda hear "blah blah blah" when we women are talking anyway, so just because you said you bought it for him, he may have just hear that and said "uh huh!" in response.
So next time just act like the "moon traveler" and that it was a huge feat making him his treat and enjoy the awe looks you get. :)

I am a working Man and whever i am free i help my wifey in every aspects of her works. Its a equal world .. what woman does so do the Man with some exceptions like breast feeding ..LOL

They don't look! Unless something jumps out at them, they just don't see it. I've had things go bad in the fridge b/c he won't get things himself, they want waited on! MEN! lol

He relies on you as his meal supplier. He has no need to access the inventory.
