Why am i lonely?

There are different kinds of loneliness. Well, to me, there is.

The first kind is friendship loneliness...
I doubt you're suffering from this but anyway...this is basically the need for someone to be loose around and the need to express yourself. I mean, sometimes we're even more relaxed around friends than parents, don't you think? Our friends might even know us better. It makes us lonely to be stripped from this privilege coz friends laugh, listen and love. You'll feel lonely though, if you're missing laughter, listening skills or love because you're hungry for self-expression. And are you really that sure you can call your friends, "friends"?

The loneliness of self-expression
Untold secrets bottled up inside you can make you lonely. Keeping yourself from the secrets you wish to unveil to people but choosing to keep it all inside instead may cause you to lose interest in saying anything at all.

The loneliness of love
Ah, the strongest loneliness of all. Self-explanatory but you might be clueless so...let me expand. Hearing "goodnight" and "goodmorning" from specific people and hearing those expressiond every single day/night may seem comfortable, but when you suddendly lose that "goodnight" message, you'll most likely end up searching for it later on. Your nights'll seem incomplete just because of those simple factors. So if you've just borken up with someone, you might not be searching for a replacement, but just the specail treatment

The loneliness of fun
Some people just arent having enough fun. that'll really make you lonely. Day-in and day-out from work will bore you and you'll feel like you're missing out on a lot. are you?

The loneliness of family
Your family will always be there. But if you seem to have grown too independent that you don't even notice it, that's the time you might feel lonely.

Loneliness happens basically when you're missing something. you've GOT to find that something and a series of bonding with family, friends, strangers(yes, strangers) or with yourself(self appreciation) will never hurt. You don't know what you're missing.

Might actually be fun.

Just because you have friends doesnt mean that you are not lonely. Feels like you have a void inside that you need to fill and you havent found with what. Try nurturing your spirituality for a change and see what can come up.

I feel the same i tried telling a counsellor that same thing one time, i think for me anyway is i just dont get that love feeling you know? like ive got plenty of friends but when it comes down to it who can i really call or hug and stuff like that, msg me if u like to talk sometimes, i dont mind you can even cheer me up and we'll try to make us feel less lonely lol.

why do you feel that you are lonely? you must be happy that you have friends. some people dont have friends
if you feel lonely then you must not sit on this computer and spend time in yahoo answers. you must go and talk to you friends and make yourself happy !!!!!!!!!!!
