its c.17 and 44
coz 2*17=34 which is less than 44 by 10 and 17+44=64
a.8.00
coz 3 pizzas cost $34 - cost(4sandwiches)
so..$34 - cost(4 sandwiches) + cost(7 sandwiches) = $41.50
implies that 3 sandwiches cost $7.5..implies that each sandwich costs $2.5
so..3 pizzas cost $34 - (4*$2.5) which gives $24
so..1 pizza costs $8.00

the first one is C
2x+10=y
x+y=64
3x+10=64
x(smaller number)=18
2(18)=36+10=46(larger number)
the second one
3x+4y=34
3x+7y=41.5
lucky you...same number of pizzas + 3 more sandwiches= $2.50 a sandwich
3x+10=34
a pizza=8 bucks

1.The answer is C bcoz 18 * 2 = 36 = 46 - 10
2.The answer is A bcoz :-
3 sandwitches cost $7.50
So, 1 sandwitch costs $2.50
So, 3 pizzas cost $24.00 ($34.00 - $10.00
So, 1 pizza costs $8.00.

64 - x -10 = 2x
3x = 54
x = 18, (y=46)

3P + 7S =41.50
3S = 7.5
S=2.5
3P = 24
