after watching the movie the other day i thought it was okay in small doses.
a little bit of a let down at the end i thought it was going to last a little longer.
if there is going to be another i hope it has a better ending.
ive never read the book so i cant comment on that.

NO... the movie sucked... the book was pretty good, a bit cliche... but pretty good to have been written by a 15 year old...
the movie however was horrible, characters did match up, they left out "MAJOR" events... esp. near the end of the movie..
it sucked... read the book. ignore the movie.

I only watched a little with me sister's kiddies and it looked a bit crap to me. It seemed pretty ordinary and the dragon was ugly and had a stupid voice.
