It's ok, but why would you want to?Think about it. If you splash water from the sink onto or into the hot cooker, the results could be deadly. Also you will want counter space between these two for ease of operation. Without prep space next to stove, or sink you will be hindered in food prep. It should be against the law, if it isn't.

to the person above a cooker is a stove!
I dont know of any laws prohibiting it I think its more asthetic then anything. If a kitchen doesnt have a lot of space they may just have to fit appliances in any way they can.

I'm sorry, but your vernacular is NOT universal, try using another word for "cooker" (i.e : Oven, stove, hot plate,microwave) All these things cook, so to me they are all "Cookers". What "Cooker" are you talking about.

mine is right next to the stove . i know u dont want the fridge next to the stove for obvious reasons
