If you've never been to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge in Tenn. You should stop by there and check it out. There is tons to do there and you will love the area. It's right in the heart of the Smokies...
Someplace to stay while there would be a mountain cabin like this one:

Or there are hundreds of hotels/motels there and not very expensive either...

Rock City in Lookout Mountain, GA. Also check out nearby Ruby Falls and the Tennessee Aquarium. Both are in nearby Chattanooga, TN.

How about shopping in the shopping outlet in Franklin Mills, PA (near Philly) or maybe shopping in Manhattan NY or maybe lunch...then,
Check out the Baltimore Aquarium , then
Check out the museums in Washington, DC, then
South of the Border in South Carolina
and possibly dinner in Atlanta,Georgia (although it takes you off 95)
Final Destination: FLORIDA - beaches and sunshine

It would depend on the route you choose, what your interests are, how much time you have to travel, and how much money you want to spend (or save) . . .
