It may be better to use the sperm of the 2 brother-in-laws.

Use both theirs sperms, so that no one knows who the real father is & there is no ownership issue.

However all parties need to be emotionally mature ........ Otherwise its better to use the sperm of a total stranger & hope that the donor is not some vauge dude descended from Hitler or Saddam or Laden

First of all, her husband should see if there is any medication he can take to increase his sperm count.

If she is tracking her ovulation closely and knows when she is ovulating, then she and her husband should abstain from sex for a week before ovulation and then have sex just before ovulation. This will allow her husband's sperm count to build up.

She can also try IUI, which the sperm is injected in her cervix through a narrow tube. This allows sperm to reach the fallopian tubes faster. Sperm is usually collected within a 1/2 hour of injecting, so again they may want to abstain from sex for at least a week prior to having this done to build up his sperm count. My friend conceived both of her children this way.

If that doesn't work, the next step would be IVF, where sperm and eggs are withdrawn and fertilized in a lab, then implanted in the uterus. This is very expensive and there are no guarantees the eggs will implant and grow.

If they've been TTC for awhile (i would say more than a year) she, and her husband, should see a Reproductive Endocrinologist for a full workup and to find out their options.

There is a new procedure for male factor infertility where she can undergo in vitro fertilization with her husband's sperm and use something called Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). It's where they inject a single sperm into the egg prior to growing the embryo in the lab and then inserting the fertilized egg like they would with any other IVF procedure.

well if they are desperate and the brother in laws are willing to try, she could have their sperm artificially inserted in her.

and it's just the beginning of 2007, i wouldn't worry about delivering one this year, but more or less actually conceiving one this year.

her and her husband could also continue to try to conceive a child. she should chart her periods and keep track of her ovulation and have sex multiple times a week during her fertile stage. even though the male has low sperm account, if they do that, there could still be a slight chance she could get pregnant.

or he could try to have the doctors artificially insert whatever sperm of his into his wife.

good luck.

She could get an ovulation calender from her doctor. Try more on those days when she is ovulating.
OR
She could get sperms from either of her brother-in-laws and artificially insert the sperm if her husband give consent and is willing.

There are lots of possible reasons for a low sperm count. It might be worth exploring those, unless of course it's been looked at medically and it's not going to improve.

Hubby needs to go to the doctor and get checked out.

Aside from that she might try a little more oral foreplay with hubby to maximize his sperm output.

dont use a condom and work at it everyday and if that does not help dont fore sex like just making out and going wild try softly kissing to get a guy "excited" sort of speak and then slowly work to get really turned on and take things slow. let it happen on its own course.

well they can go to the doctors and get some help and then they can go on to the web and get a ovulation calender and see when she is ovulating and then do it alot on the days that it says
