Some of the answers give you the correct instructions (do not just go and remove IE7!) so no need to repeat. But just out of interest why are you asking? I did not upgrade to IE7 right away because IE6 was workign well enough, and I just like you I was not sure how to roll back. But since I have upgraded I find IE7's tab functionality is a great addition. Just curious...

Don't remove IE7 some people have had computer problems after removing it.
Instead downalod and run a standalone version of IE6. You can have both IE6 and IE7 running on the same machine.
Check out the following resource.

Go to add or remove and uninstall IE7, it will automatically roll back to IE6 If you get any problems as stated in one of the other answers and I doubt thet you will, just re-install IE7 again.

Yes, go to Microsoft and download it before getting rid of IE7. Or as I did, when I deleted IE7, the program automatically asked me if I wanted to go back and said yes, and then there it was.
