Maybe you should use anything. If you have good skin now, why ruin it with products. Drink water and wash your face at night. I'm 26 and I've never used makeup. Its gonna be my Last resort.
Good Luck

I agree with beanie.... If you have fairly good skin, a tinted moisturiser is your best bet with concealer for blemishes.
I use clinique tinted moisturiser (almost makeup), its fairly expensive but lasts for ages AND i would ask at a counter for a sample before you buy.
If you go into boots (etc) then most ranges have a chart (light to medium coverage, natural finish et etc) so you can decide what you're looking for.
Concealer wise, I use Rimmel, Hide the Blemish. Apparently one is soldevery second or something stupid!
But if you're skins mostly good, why not instead invest in skin care instead? I good spot cream, moisturiser and eye cream would make you look great!
Finally, ask for samples EVERYWHERE and ask your friends if you can try whatever they use!

I'd recomend making an appointment to have a free make-over done at The Body Shop, if you've never used makeup before on your skin. They will help you find just the right colour, and show you the best way to apply it, plus good advice all round. You don't have to buy anything but their products are very good quality and not expensive, plus they are not tested on animals (despite the L'Oreal takeover last year)I've had one done and thoroughly enjoyed it; I did buy some foundation too for those days when my skin needs a bit of help! It's very light and moisturising too.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11/27/causes-of-dark-circles/
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I use Boots No7 tinted moisturiser. I find the coverage much better that ordinary foundation and it doesn't look as 'cakey'. I normally use a bit of concealer under my eyes and to cover any blemishes, put the tinted moisturiser on and then dust with a bit of translucent powder. Hope this helps!

Try Loreal True Match Foundation. I have slept in it before, (never do that, though- its not good for your skin), and have never broken out from it. Loreal also makes a bronzer that you can add to the foundation, to add a "glow". Loreal True Match goes on smooth, is not cakey, is very light weight, yet seems to do a good job at covering blemishes, dark circles, etc..

You can buy a skin tinted moisturiser. That way you won't feel cakey. For blemishes and under eye circles, use a concealer.

go online and go to colormebeautiful.com. What you need is a color wheel concealer color corrector for dark circles and skin imperfections. I recommend this product highly and use it everyday. After putting on moisturizer then use your color wheel corrector. After you have given your skin a balanced even coloring, it is ready for foundation. Go to onyasorganics.com and they have a wonderful cream very pure makeup in medium that is organic/natural and great for your skin. This will give you a flawless look. It is a great makeup. Then buy a beautiful bronzer and a blush from Sephora.com. and then top off with a beautiful peachy lip gloss from Sephora.com. These are all international companies and you can order online from them. I have used products from all these companies and I recommend them. For cleansing products go to greenridgeherbals.com. They have natural/organic products that are fabulous. Check them out, you will love their products of skin care. Good Luck

I am not sure what UK products they have but do look in to a mineral poweder foundation - it is flawless.
I am so happy with mine. It helps with the blemish, and circles.
It also loves my skin. Arbonne's it isn't in the UK, yet.
Should be soon though. I am sure you can find something that is similar.

Instead of foundation, why don't you go for tinted moisturiser instead and use a good concealer to cover up blemishes? Max factor do good concealers.
