More like who the heck is Ernst T Bass...He was a fictional character on The Andy Griffith Show played by Howard Morris. By the way Arnold Ziffel, Mr Haney says stay away from his prize winning basset hound.

It was Ernest T. Bass...a character form the old television show...Mayberry, RFD....also known as The Andy Griffith show. Ernest T. was a true hillbilly...
