NO OMG!!!!!!!!!

Well first off, we procrastinated this Christmas so we ended buying plane tickets actually flying out ON Christmas because they were the only tickets that weren't completely unreasonable. We get to the airport, around 7 AM, just for them to tell us that our original flight to Salt Lake was delayed for like 4 hours and that we were going to miss our connecting flight to Kansas City. There was a later flight out of Salt Lake, but it was totally full. There weren't any more until the next day.

As soon as we walked away from the counter, I said, "Watch them lose our luggage too. Watch 'em."

So after spending my whole Christmas in 3 different airports and eating Pizza Hut for dinner we finally arrived at our destination at around midnight. The baggage belt thing went round round and what a surprise!!!! Our luggage wasn't there. We didn't get them till the 27th and our presents were in there so we had to do our Christmas two days late.

Well, that is my long long horror story. LOL Hope it gave you a laugh.

No. They've damaged my luggage though.

My husband's luggage got lost a couple of times years ago, but he got it back a few days later. I think it's pretty rare that airlines lose luggage completely. I hope you'll get yours back eventually.

yes but ,it was sort of my fault i missed my conection and my luggage didnt , by law your luggage shouldnt travel without you and is removed in such circumstances , they didnt even realise i wasnt there , i was sat where the t.v. and speakers were not working , i got back to birningham the next day and they sent my luggage to my house free of charge as they were so embarassed about the **** up . i could have had a bomb in the luggage that went home without me !! goes to show security in other countries arnt as good as they make out !!!

I was commuting between two cities in ... I don't want to say where...and they were very selective in deciding what I would be missing from my luggage : All my business shirts, silk ties and local souvenirs given to me as going away presents - except a few which were repacked badly and broken.

Kind of; mine was just misplaced and decided to take a trip to Oregon. LOL The luggage came back home the next day, apparently had had enough sight seeing on its own. ;-)
