I know. If people calmed down they wouldn't feel like killing people. There wouldn't be so many deaths. If everyone would just chill the world would be a much better place.

Fighting over oil? When was the last time you filled up your car? If this was about oil we would be paying about $0.75 per gallon we posess the power to comondere the entire middle east and simply take the oil we are there for other reasons and most of them are for the benefit of the free people of this world. I look forward to the day when we drill in the Gulf of Mexico and the Anwar reagon of the state of Alaska or when we relax the restrictions placed on our oil industry and citizenry then gas would be much much much cheaper. That will never happen for two reasons one is that it can be manipulated as a political tool the other is that the liberals will never "lighten up" with all the prohibitive rules and legislation regarding refining, drilling and the insane level of taxation related to that black goo. That sorted out the next thing to address is problem of those who want to kill you and I simply because we do not follow their particular political philosophy and or religon these are facts that will never permit a lasting peace between all of us on this planet.

The reason that there will always be wars and things of that nature is because people will not ever get along with each other at all times. If the world leaders all went on a cruise and sorted out their differences then they would be forced to compromise and if they go to war about it and win then there is no compromising involved.

Brilliant question...and wouldn't it be lovely if that could actually be a solution?
Its amazing...how screwed up the world has seem to become. The fighting, the wars, the hatred. All over land and religion and resources. And when you look at it that way, it just seems ridiculous! Mind you, there have always been wars over those issues....but it seems to be so much bigger and more frightening, now that weapons of mass destruction are in play. What in the world has happened to mankind - that we want to destroy eachother so much? How did it all come to this?

True but the problem can start with just one individual who didn't hear what you just said. It only takes one bomb, one person and one target. It can start a whole chain of events much like when Franz Ferdinand was assasinated to start the 1st WW. If the world could police itself, like the Chinese people do their own communities, we wouldn't have these problems. If all the communies of the world held basic human law to heart for ALL not just themselves (treat people as you would like to be treated... that means no torture, no blowing each other up and stuff) we wouldn't have these problems.

Is it just a dream?
Today I saw an item on the TV news where a certain Rev. Ian Paisley and Mr Gerry Adams, once sworn enemies, decided to sit down together and be friends, and work together for a peaceful future in Northern Ireland.
If they can do it, other people can.
There's always hope...:-)

I like your style,
However, if you consider that just 2% of the worlds water is fresh and drinkable, we are keeping accendancy by taking the oil. One day a nation will start a real war to end all wars just for water.
Nice thought eh!.

There are quite a few people on here who are cyber jihadists. I've thought so for the last two months as I know a lot of people and westerners are not usually this rabid about issues.
They are taking western user names. But they usually make english ,historical or cultural mistakes.
See link below. Checked snopes there is no mention of this.
