hi,

i would like to find out how to solve this problem

i would like to find out given that the limit of the function f(x)=6 as x approaches 1 and limit of the function g(x)=4 i would like to find out how to find the following limits

lim f(x) + g(x) as x approaches 1 and
lim f(x) / g(x) as x approaches 1

thanks for your help. it is much appreciated

lim f(x) x approaches 1=6
lim g(x) x approaches 1=4
lim f(x) + g(x) as x approaches 1=6+4=10 {because lim f(x) + g(x)= f(x) + lim g(x) as x approaches 1} similarly:
lim f(x) / g(x) as x approaches 1=6/4=3/2
