I have a Xerox Docuprint P8e printer .It wirks well on Win98 but gives error of out of pages in WinXP ven when I have inserted the pages. I use the same computer. I have tried taking help and even reinstalled the printr driver and the window but the problem persists.

I had installed the inbuilt driverof the printer.It worked perfectly some time ago.

If you cant find a driver for XP or the vendor does not provide one, you can try using a Windows 2000 driver. That usually gets around problems with older hardware and XP.

Hi

Thats the driver that IS NOT compatible with xp , thats all , talk to xerox and download the driver FOR XP , do not use the one from win98 . IF you install the driver FOR xp and still making the error then its your version of windows xp thats NOT compatible

yei. the printer isn't compatible. purchase a new one. or ask the technician for alternatives.
