I am planning to start my own consultancy firm which would provide softskill and behavioral training. i want to be professional about this and have a mission and vission statement where i need help. i have 2 questions
1. Is it alright to use a phrase or quote by someone else as your mission statement? OUR MISSION-“We are committed to enabling organizations to drive successful change internally through the provision of consultancy skills and practical techniques." Philip Albon, 1994.... ??
2. is my vision statement good/appropriate ?? OUR VISION- is to ‘C’reate, ‘A’chieve, ‘R’efine and ‘E’xcel....

I like number 2 alot! and I have never seen a vision statement using a quote by someone. Usually it is a statement by the president of the company or founders of the company. Hope this helps.
