Izzie and Bella - to me represent very different personalities - When I hear Izzie, I see a tom-boy-ish girl in overalls climbing a tree...and Bella, I see in tights doing pirouettes across the kitchen. Names are powerful and they conjure images for people - nicknames are personal and should represent who she is...and that will come as you discover who she is. In the meantime, I'd stick with "baby-girl" or pumpkin...something she'll grow out of as you get to know her.

Sorry, but Isabelle is not a nickname for Elizabeth..it's a derivitive, which is a related-but-separate name. If you call her Bella or Izzie, people are going to think her name is Isabelle.

Bella is really cute. Izzie sounds like an ole lady.
Beth and Liz are also nicknames.
