No, I don't feel that way; and neither should you.

When someone is "taking over"...the relationship is not about love, but about control. To "take over" another, is to violate his/her sacred boundaries...whether of the mind, body or soul.

It is your right to feel in control of yourself and your relationship. No one should ever compromise that. This feeling is not okay...

Some people are just used to be the one in control and taking a hold of the situation or relationship. As long as they are not being abusive and a control FREAK then it should not be a problem. If you are uncomfortable then just tell the other person about it and let them know that you may be feeling a little trapped or smothered...

Yes I have felt like this, but a point in time will come when you will decide that you can't take anymore of this. No one else can tell you that you should do something, you have to decide when the time is right for you. No one should have that much control over another person.

Yes, sometimes. Like, I want to get my hair cut short, but hubby doesn't like short hair on women. I know it's my hair And I should just say screw it and go do what I want, but I don't want to deal with a pissy attitude if I do it. I just feel like it should be enough that I'm faithful to him and take care of the kids and the house, but he just blows the looks thing out of proportion. So, yes, I feel like he's taking me over sometimes.

The one you love should never make you feel like that, if it's in a bad way that you mean.

My husband and I are joined at the hip and I love it. We enjoy each others company. Yeah he took me over----my heart. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sometimes it's a good thing, because good things come out of it. But if it's in a way that you feel trapped, or not yourself..not good..Talk it through..or dump his a**
