My team would be:
Robinson
Richards Terry Ferdinand A.Cole
Lennon Gerrard Hargreaves Barry
Rooney Defoe.
This would be a winning team

Am I the only one who thinks that Rooney is overrated. When was the last time he scored for England and he has hardly set the world alight at Man Utd this season compared to Ronaldo. I think he should be dropped to give him the kick up the back side he needs. Also why not play a diamond midfield formation. This would allow Lampard and Gerrard to play where they are best.
I think the team against Andorra should be:
Robinson
Richards
Terry
Carragher
A Cole
Hargreaves(holding)
Lennon (right side of diamond)
Gerrard (left side of diamond)
Lampard(Front of diamond)
A Johnson
Defoe or Nugent

I like the lumpy for Owen Hargreaves suggestion, and the M. Richards for P Neville makes good sense as well. Shame you did not suggest leaving terry off as well. in my opinion the only problem with our Squad is that there is no Leadership, and everyone knows without Leadership the Squad find themselves in a Hopeless Situation. Daniel J has made thr right suggestion.

Cost me a fortune in lost bets did England !
I cant see any drastic improvement until we get rid of Sven McClaren and we realise that Gerrard & Lampard cannot play in the same team.

Crouch is still recovering from surgery on his nose, isn't he ?
Anyway, keep Johnson; we need alternatives up front & Saturday was not his fault.
I agree about dropping Lampard for Hargreaves, I would put Barry on the left & Lennon on the right & why not give Richards another game as he is one for the future ? I would also tell Stevie G to shoot on sight !

I like the sound of that and drop JT as captain as it seems like he isn't insipring our team like he should be.
My team would be:

Lets play the midfield in their proper positions and go for a convincing performance (I'll take a 2-0 win as long as they play well)

can i just ask is everybody forgeting beckham is INJURED
but move gerrard back in the middle with downing on left and lenon on the right lampard on the bench drop terry as captain and give it to gerrard
It seems that the chelsea boys are not putting in the effort

The F.A. should drop Mclaren and replace him with someone who can inspire what should be a great squad into a squad who at least look capable of winning against ordinary opposition

and Johnson was playing not Defoe
Defoe came on as a sub
although when crouch is fit he is better than Johnson or Defoe
