At our town's annual Scottish fair, Roddy, the head of the town's Scottish chapter puts on a 2 hour interview segment with various guests. There is a good 200 people that love watching these interviews. He invited one of the fair's ground crew on the interview platform, Jimmy, a man of Fiji decent.
Roddy started insulting Jimmy's Polynesian heritage by bringing out pineapples, bananas, and dropping coconuts onto the table, to make Jimmy "feel at home". Jimmy took offense to this and Roddy then attacked Jimmy by smashing him over the head with a coconut and shoving a banana in his face. He followed this up by whipping Jimmy with his belt. Jimmy was knocked woozy which allowed Roddy to leave before Jimmy, now dazed, could fight back.
Nobody will come forward to tell police what happened. Roddy is my friend and I'm worried he may be charged. I'm interested to know, what could he be charged with? He only hit him with fruit and just a little with the belt.
