This morning I returned from Delhi and as informed by freinds & thinking of it as a regular practice, I got a Dish Tv satellite receiver with me. While coming out of customs my baggage was screened & the reciever was confiscated by the customs. They gave me two options either they will destroy it or if the keep it till i return back to india I will have to pay a storage charge of Dhs 25 per day. I generally go on vacation to india every 2 months so paying Dhs 1500 for them to keep my decoder is waste of money. I have got numerous friends & aquaintances who are happily using Tata sky & dish tv at their houses. Why was I the victim? I feel really bad. Can anyone suggest what to do pls? This place stinks, its like an exile with so many foolish restrictions & rules for someone's vested interest. The authorities took my VC card also which was prepaid for an year.
