I'd save my wife without hesitation. Aside from the reality that my 7 months pregnant wife would have a harder time swimming, she is the woman I love and have pledged my life to. She's the mother of my son and unborn daughter.
The statement that you can always get another spouse are disturbing. I am nearly 34 years old. I don't need my parents. I need my wife.

My husband. My mother has had a good life and my husband and I are just getting into the swing of it. There is a natural progression to life. The young bury the old.

I would have to save my husband. Not only is he the love of my life and irreplaceable, but he is also the father of my children. I would be dooming them to grow up without their father. I couldn't do that.
I love my parents, but when I got married I took a vow to my husband. I know the pain of losing a parent, and it was my husband and children that have helped me to move on from it.

My husband. My parents will be older than my husband so they would have spent a good numbers of years enjoying life, it'd be selfish not to give my husband the same chance plus my husband is my soulmate and best friend.

I would save my spouse. She represents the future and a chance for my parents to pass on some of their genes.

I agree with some of the replies a spouse can be replaced. So I would save my parent.

You know, i have often thought about this one. I love my parents unconditionably and they are my blood which is thicker than water. However, I have grown up with my parents and my future is now with my fiance. I have had a great life with my parents and want to die old with my fella so if, and only if, I did have to choose one it would have to be him.
