The thread that gets fed throuhgh the needle bunches up around the bobbin area and then breaks. what am i doing wrong? i am new to sewing.

i do pull the thread from the bobbin up. How do i adjust the tension? (sorry, but i am really new to sewing)

it sounds like you have threaded it up wrongly.i don't know how to do them though

You probably have the bobbin in backwards and the thread is coming off the wrong way. After you put the bobbin in the case pull the thread and the bobbin should turn clockwise. At least on most.

Adjust your tension til the thread can be pulled thru easily.
Remove your bobbin-check that the thread is fished thru the channel at the closed side of the bobbin holder

And, a third. Before you put any material under the presser foot, do you pull the bobbin thread up?

hi..take all the thread off and re thread the bobbin..and re thread the machine...and check to see that the needle is in groove faceing front..good luck ..Donna

The tension is too tight.
