It depends on what you are supposed to be in denial about.
If you are in doubt about an addiction or other destructive behavior, then denial is part of the illness and perhaps you should listen and seek help.

If they are just saying that because they want you to believe something else that you are just not convinced of, just say "Let's agree to disagree."

Someone says that because they see something the other person does not. The reason we say someone is in denial, is usually when they say they are not. denial is just that, refusing to see what others see.
like when someone uses too many drugs, or drink. or when someone is in a bad relationship, but refuses to see this.
does that make any sense at all? not sure its still early. (oh, and I AM BAAAAACK)
