Falling in love with my sons father was a huge mistake. Having my son a year later made up for all the hurt. Looking at him as a honor roll, well adjusted teen looking into Howard University swells my heart with pride.

Walking in Boston, going on a coffee break, when a modeling agency, came up to me and asked me, If I wanted to model some of her clothes, ( I had a very bad cold at the time.), but I said, why not. I ended up doing runways, local fashion shows. And made alot of money between-1976 to 1985. It was the best, bad mistake I had.

The greatest personal mistake I ever made was how I once treated a lady friend. She was married, but had a crush on me. She also had just lost her sister to cancer. I was a counselor and friend to the sister who had died for the last 6 months of her life. Her sister got jealous of the relationship we had. After the death of her sister, I had to sit my friend down and tell her that a relationship was out of the question. She continued to hound me at work and with my family, and would call me day in and day out. I turned her in for harrassment, even though I knew she was still hurting for the loss of her sister. It was getting out of control. Needless to say she stayed away, but spread all kinds of ridiculous gossip and so forth. After 6 months, she cooled her jets, finally divorced her husband (who was gay), and I set her up on a date. I felt badly because I had to go to an extreme to tell her that a relationship was out of the question, but we later became friends after I had found her an alternative. She had been hurt so many times that I think I could have handled it better without the harrassment charge.

getting married was the worst thing, at least to the man that I married. It lasted 2 years and he was an bad person. But I get the best thing out of it, my son. I am a single mom now and it's had it's rough moments but becoming a mother made me mature fast and see my way of living was the wrong way and I changed my ways so my son would have a good life. We are doing great! I also have to give thanks to God as well! I am a born again Christian and God saved me from myself. Life is good now.
