If you have lost the Passport on the train, panic a little less, there were no checks at Gard de Nor when I travelled last year, but do your meeting or whatever and then get to the Consulate A.S.A.P. because getting back to blighty might be a bit of a problem. Eurostar seems to only check Passports when boarding, and don't take into account lost in transit Passports.

You need to inform the police as then it can be canciled by the passport office. Not that means anything now a days.
If you need one in a hurry the passport office no longer dose a come and wait, you need to make an apointment. Happy hols

ring eurostar and ask for help ,passport office and police need to be imformed.
