He asked for the resignations of all 93 at the BEGINNING of his administration
According to the Bush 41’s Attorney General, Stuart M. Gerson, Clinton did what Reagan did -- cleaned house at the Department of Justice upon taking office. He stated as much on March 14,2007.
The issue is not the firings, it's the why? It was to stop most of them from continuing investigations into Republican corruption. There had been more investigations in Democrats than Republicans, 298 Democrats to 67 Republicans. The problem they faced was that more evidence was being turned up on Republicans- Bob Ney and Randy Cunningham both of whom are now convicts.
The adminstration was facing addtional problems from these same attorneys.
Two examples:-
Carol Lam brought down Randy " Duke " Cunningham. She requested from her head office search warrants to a Republican defense contractor Brent R. Wilkes and a "corrupt" CIA official Kyle Dustin "Dusty" Foggo on May 10,2006.
The following day, May 11, 2006, an e-mail went from the Justice Department to the White House."

The May 11 e-mail was from D. Kyle Sampson, chief of staff to Atty. Gen. Alberto R. Gonzales, to White House Deputy Counsel William Kelley. "The real problem we have right now with Carol Lam"

U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden Las Vegas was investigating a reputed kickback scheme that may have fleeced hundreds of millions of dollars. His office oversaw the cases against four Republican former Clark County commissioners convicted of taking bribes.

Clinton fired 93 Federal Prosecutors but it wasn't Politically motivated like what the Bush Administration did because these 93 Federal Prosecutors were both Republicans and Democrats as well.

Does this make you feel any better?

I bet it doesn't!

Her point is the President has the authority to fire any prosecutor at any time for any reason. There is no "proper time".

93 - There is no "proper time," Riddler. The President can fire the federal prosecutors whenever he wants. In this case, they were not doing their jobs...so Bush fired...all 8 of them.

All of them at the proper time, unlike Bush. What is your point?

All of them. I guess if you are a Democrat it is perfectly alright, but if you are a Republican you are bad, bad bad.
