he loves me but he says i make him unhappy i love him so much if letting go means him being happy then should i?

It is not loving to hold a person emotionally hostage just because you care about them. If you are making them happy the only thing you can do is let them go completely.

As my understanding he does not love u , if he said to you he is uhappy so let im go , don't keep yourself suffering .
