Maybe this is how your body is responding to the pregnancy. My body ache when I was first pregnant. Your body is going though a lot of changes right now. I would suggest you go to your doctor to start on your prenatal vitamins and so you can know for sure the due date.
Good Luck and Congrats

Hi
I've had two children and suffered with all manner of aches and pains, especially on my lower sides and under the ribs a bit later on.
Chat to your doc if you're worried although there's not much they can do unless there's bleeding too (which can also happen without there being a miscarriage!).
babycentre.co.uk is a good site and you can post your concerns to other mums due when you would be. They may be going through the same aches as you!
Good luck x

Hi, I am 5 wks preg and I had dull aches in my stomache and groin too, it has eased off now, i was told it is your uterus preparing for pregnancy and as long as there is no bleeding, try not to worry. Easier said than done i know. Good luck xx

If you have had a pos pg test and no bleeding or spotting than everything is fine. The ache will be normal for a while. Later on it will get worse, but for a couple of months thats what you can expect.

I felt like I was going to come on for a few weeks with all three of my kids, which I'm told is normal, just hormonal so it could be the same. I'd leave it for a week or so and if nothing changes, maybe do another test.
If you really can't wait (I know I'd find it hard to) do another test anyway.
Good luck

I would get to the doctors that is how my pregnancy started then I started to bleed it was ectopic I had to have surgery and I lost a fallopean tube. So get to the Dr ASAP to rule out any complications or problems. If there are any problems it is better to get them fixed sooner to cause less harm to yourself and baby hope this helps x

When I was pregant I had dull on off cramps / aches. The doctor checked me and said all was ok it is simply the uterus strengthening and expanding in preparation. It is not uncommon to experience mild cramping. Just go to your doc so she / he can give you the all clear everything is ok.

Yes that is normal. Those are all sypmtoms of pregnancy. As long as the pain isnt severe or accompanied by heavy bleeding all is good! Try a warm bath or a heating pad to relieve the pain. Congratualtions.

You should go see your doctor for an ultra sound to rule out a tubal (Etopic) pregnancy. Back pain on the right side can be an indication of this, but it can also be an indication of gall stones. Best to see your doctor.
