Leaving high school or college or what? =P
As much as people say it is pretty much next to impossible to do so and you will be stuck flipping burgers all your life if you leave school, it is not true all of the time(sometimes it is though).
To get into a career you could do lots of things. First of all, it is good to know people; have strings to pull, that is. The more people you know, the more chance you will meet or meet someone who knows someone high-up on the ranks. This heightens your chances.
You can also make your own business. There is this miraculous things called "the Internet" that can be used with very high potency. You could start it all there! Or you could go back to school and learn about business to work with a more tangible not-so-online one, or even team up with someone who knows about business but not about on what they should make a business about! =D
Or if you don't want to take that route, you could always apply for a career based on your experience. This is much harder since people are more apt to take someone with a degree(even if they suck at what the degree is on) than someone who may be better at the job but not have a degree. My suggestion with this is to work really hard at the skills needed for whichever career you want to do, and perfect it. Once you do that, you will have to prove your value at your trade and still probably meet a bunch of people to help out.
I am very sure that you can get a decent career after leaving school. You might not be paid as much(some how, a piece of paper = more pay... oh well), but at least you'll have your career.

start building your resume by earning an experience..a good and easy way is starting from the bottom -- like who hasn't? every reputable company, or every popular individual that you know who that is seated at the high post started it off from the bottom. just take it easy and enjoy while you prepare for the next step. there you can gain a lot of experience and later on take a step higher to success.
if its the what's and the where's that you're looking, try some career guidance seminar that could guide you in the process. also, it's all into the inner you -- walk the path you will most likely enjoy. nothing beats a good career than loving it in the first place..follow your heart.
good luck!
