When I was going for my test our local bus driver said 'oh no not another blo*dy woman driver'
Why do we get slated and remarks made
Is there any evidence that we are bad drivers ???
I passed my test 1st time with 5 minors
Is that good enough to put me in the same driving league as you blokes.

You first have to define a "bad" driver.
Men take more risks, therefore, they have more accidents.
Women statistically crash into staionary objects a lot more than men.
In general men are more skilled in driving, if better means having less accidents then women are "better". Its genetics, womens spacial awareness has been proven to be inferior to mens........hence the old parking issues.
I get annoyed with "bad" drivers don't care what sex they are.
As for passing first time, don't mean anything. Some of my friends who passed first time are the worst drivers i know!
I passed first time, but it took me a good year to become good at driving. Never had an accident in 12 years by the way. Touch wood!!!!

So, JS - formula 1 drivers are good, are they?!!! I'll tell you, I'd give any of them a run for their money if I had a Ferrari! I passed both my motorcycle test and car test on my first attempt. I've got no points on my licence. I've never had a prang or scrape. My insurance recognises I'm a good driver as it gives me a discount for being female!! However, it's nice to be driven by a nice courteous male who is safe behind the wheel too but generally, women are better drivers.

Its just another stupid stereotype! Yes there are bad women drivers but yes there are bad men drivers too. As long as your driving safely it doesnt matter what sex you are!
And congrats on passing first time by the way with so few minors! :o)

i have been a proffesional driver for 10 years.sure men can be crap drivers too.good driving is about common sense.its about probability and outcome,meaning anticipating before it happens.certain senarios crop up time and time again.in time you learn to spot these.never give in to peer pressure from other drivers.give driver in front plenty of room in case he/she does something stupid.be curtious.stay within speed limit.give way at give way points.(this sounds stupid but people tend not to give way and just drive straight out).and above all relax and stay calm.(and stay off the mobile)lol.

look at car insurance - its cheaper for women.
