I bought a Teddy Bear hamster 3 years ago, and it just died yesterday, I checked on him and he wasn't in his bed, he was laying flat down and there was blood that had came from his mouth, there was about a teaspoon or so, but I was wondering if maybe he ripped his teeth or something?

I agree. I bet it was an aneurism. Not had that in a hamster, but did in a cat.

I am so so sorry about your hamster. I too have a syrian (teddybear) who is one year old. He has ripped his teeth out several times but they grew back within a few days so it wont be that.

What I can say is your hamster had a longer life than most and I hope my Harry lives as long as yours. Im sure whatever he died of it was due to old age. Im sure he had a lovely life with you and was very happy. You clearly took great care of him for him to live to 3.

No he probably had an aneurysm that burst. Or he had a bleed somewhere in his GI tract.

Doesn't sound like teeth. It sounds like it was what killed him. Maybe a haemorage from somewhere.
