I am convinced theirs is a business arrangement, and I was convinced of that before the infidelity became public knowledge. I believe she was the power behind his throne. I did not, however, imagine she had her own ambitions for the presidency. She forgave him for getting caught, but I doubt she cared about the adultery.

My guess is that the Clinton's have had some long range plans, and those plans are for both of them, working as a couple, not as individuals. Seems that Hillary was more upset with the fact that Bill was caught, not so much the fact that he was cheating, I'm not sure that she actually forgave his stupid behavior.

Absolutely!
Years ago when Hillary was in the 5th grade in Middle school she planned on Running for President some day and realized she would have to make herself look good to people so they would vote for her!
But then - you knew this right?

She decided to forgive and forget because she had a bigger and better agenda down the road. Bill Clinton was/is her ticket to to becoming a mayor and possibly a president.
To the person above me, yes it is OUR business if they plan on running for office. Sorry, but I wouldn't like to have a president who cheats on his wife in office. So, let the dirty laundry air.

I imagines she stayed because she wanted to and I am sure at the time she had no ambitions for the presidency!
If you want to ask questions why don't you ask how the current 1st lady continues in her marriage as she told Bush if he started drinking again she would leave, and there has been talk about that!
Or ask her why she stayed with Bush when he had an affair!
