Absolutely!

How can we send money to aid every country on the planet and not make sure every US citizen is fed and housed!?!?!?!?!

Selfish people in this country still don't want to admit that not all US citizens have the same rights or opportunities equally!
It's better than it was .....but not as good as it should be!

No.
But, it should guarantee the opportunity for every citizen to a good education and a fair wage. Allowing jobs to leave the country is counterproductive to that goal.

Why stop at food and shelter? There's no reason for them to work, so they'll be home all day. Lets provide cable TV. They'll need some way to get around, so we'll have to give them cars too.

No. I do not want the government to be my mommy or my daddy or my big brother.

Do liberals not see a problem with not trusting their government to not blow up their own buildings and kill 3000 people and then expecting that same government to feed them? If you cannot trust the government with your safety, why would you want that government to feed you?!

So that I can see LESS of my Social Security? Blah. NO. If you want a place to sleep, or you want to eat, work for it like the rest of us do.

Oh, and if you're not a legal citizen of the US, GO HOME.

Everybody needs to be responsible for themselves. There are programs for those who REALLY need help and we should help those who are really unable to do things for themselves, otherwise, get up, go to work and provide for yourself and your family.
I will say though, that in this country NOBODY should go hungry.
