I am 13 and I have been playing tennis for 2 and a half years. I have asked the same question to my coach who thinks I'm very good and I am very competitive. He recommended me to sign up for the LTA tennis association (which is free membership for a year) if you apply before the beginning of March. This will get you very far in the tennis world and if this has been helpful then please can I have the best answer - lol :)

You mean asides from practice?

First you must enter some ATP Challenger tournaments, if you are fortunate enough to do well in these tournaments, (Think you might have to win the tourney) you will receive an ATP point. Once you receive an ATP point, you are qualified to join ATP tour tournaments, or at least are able to play the qualifiers. Again, if you do well and win, then you are eligible to play in bigger ATP tournaments and so on..
Its a long road..

Good luck!
