I know Charlie. He was a product of his environment. His mother threw him away and he never got over that, so he never really learned to give a damn about anybody else.
He is not a genius, but he was an excellent leader. Just like Jim Jones and David Koresh. He knew how to manipulate people. If he had only been put into the right environment when he was young he could have ben the Donald Trump of the 60s. He had friends with money, he had talents and he knew how to work the system. He just went a little too far beyond the point of no return.
No way would he have walked, we lived in a very different world then. OJ would have gone to the gas chamber back then too.
It didn't matter to Charlie that he went back to prison, that was the place he knew best of all, it was his only real home, complete with structure and rules that he had to follow whether he liked them or not. That was the only place he ever really felt secure.

Charlie was a genius but any man that goes to court needs an attorney. Yes he would be free today. He would have been forced mental treatment but lets face it he needs that more than he needs access to 60 minutes and 10 million Charlie fans hearing him speak key phrases every now and again. The Scary Thought What about Charlies siblings and the rest of the Manson's not in jail they are still free...

They got OJ Simpson off, so i'm sure they could've got Manson off.
He is guilty, he was a mind-controlled slave of the government. Projects like MKULTRA exist, and kids are taken(kidnapped or usually taken from broken homes IE: father sexually molested child, government comes in, pays parents for child, then child is taken to a camp, where trauma based mind control takes place, shock treatment, kept in cages, etc...) Then they are given multiple personalities and are brainwashed in the occult. A regular trauma is they are given drugs and "Jesus or God" come to the child(when he is drugged) and told he is not worthy of love from humans or God himself, programmed to follow orders etc.., then they are let loose and their personalities can be turned on and off via TV programs, telephone rings, a word on the phone, disney movies, etc.. all can trigger which ever personality the programmers want to bring out for a mission or whatever.
This stuff does exist, Anton Lavey was a programmer, marilyn manson(brian warner) was his mind controlled slave.
Marilym Monroe was also a sex slave, with Frank sinatra as her programmer, etc, etc,
check out cathy o brians book : tranceformation in America" or google mind control

He may have walked on that one but he is far too crazy to have stayed out of trouble for long. He is where he belongs. Too bad the media keeps him in the news. He should be among those criminals who who are buried in prison never to be heard from again.
