NO. The filter is there for a reason - even if you do manage to get past it, I hope you get caught. You are supposed to be using school computers for school purposes, such as research and homework. Why would you need to get past a filter? If it is a legitimate reason, you can ask a teacher to open up access to a site - but you need to have a good reason. Access the rest of the sites in your own time, on your own hardware, and stop stealing school resources.

My lad did just that...he thought he could get away with it...even using a terminal with someone else logged on! Unfortunately the times were logged the terminal was logged he deleted his entries and exits too....but they still caught him!!! They track ALL activitiy and even though you don't hear from them at the time that does not mean that you haven't been being monitored!!!
He ended up suspended for 2 weeks then had ALL his computer privileges cut and then had a whole month of no PC usage when he got back....yeah you go for it and be clever.....after all you aren't there to learn are you.....cruising the internet will pay your wages when you leave school right????

You really shouldn't be so naive. I know your at school but think about it. Getting round the filters is easy stuff, getting away with it isn't. If you use a school computer to get round filters just expect to be caught, no surprises when it happens. Not getting caught is actually quite difficult and involves cloning, aliasing, multiple routing, hacking. signal bounce and reflect and even then you may not get away with it.

What you need is a proxy anonymiser. But I wouldn't recommend using a website based one, as the school filters pick up on those. Instead, go for a program based anonymiser, and bring it into school on your external storage (such as a USB drive). Me and my buddies did this and it worked a treat :)
