1 .=when i try to download any thing a grey cuboidal machine with a red arrow going in it, start blinking on my lower left side of internet explorer what is that. how can i turn that off???

Your email address is self assigned by yourself. No one of know what it is unless you inform us of your email address. The address can be checked by logging into your email account and looking in your inbox.

The second icon purely is a symbol to show that you are
downloading content. This feature can not be disabled.
