Frank Gotch, Lou Thesz and modern day Shawn Michaels and Mitsuharu Misawa would be in my list of all-time greatest "wrestler". Each of these guys have revolutionised the business in their own way. Without either of those four along with charismatic greats such Gorgeous George, Buddy Rogers and Hulk Hogan pro-wrestling would be a very different ball game today

judging by your choices u choose entertainment value over technical wrestling coz those 3 certainly arent the best wrestlers, never have been... so if u want entertainment wise then id say either austin or hogan... but if u want my opinion for the best wrestler ever would be between shawn michaels and ric flair... its hard to compare different styles from different generations so thats the best i can give u but yer, those two have a catergory of their own that is virtually unreachable

NO!!! Hulk Hogan is the best wrestler ever. Remember teh dude who would tear our his shirt when coming on stage and played 'Eye of the tiger' by survivor. he made wrestling what it is today 'Hulkamania' is his fanbase [I centuries ago was a big fan :)] try watching his classics battles with The million Dollar man, Rick Flair, Andre the Giant, Fugi etc etc
