I was in your same situation with my first child. My mom was so upset that I got pregnant and she wanted me to get an abortion too. I wouldn't and now my mom absolutly adores my son. He is now 7 years old. My mom has many other older grandchildren and she spoils my son more than any of the others. Just let her know that your planning on keeping the baby and raising it on your own with or without her help and I am sure that she will warm up to the idea. Good luck.

I'm guessing your mom wants you to have abortion because your still under 18. That's a natural response. Mom is upset and probably a little disappointed. If you think abortion is murder talk to your mom. These days there are so many options. Might want to visit a planned parenting place to talk about your options. But think about a few things. Are you working to provide for a baby? Where is the father of this baby? Will he help or was you his fun? Will mom have to help you to provide for this baby, and will mom have to take care of this baby too? I don't support abortion, but sometimes it just makes sense for other people. You have some decisions to make. Good luck.

you are absolutely right- abortion is murder- even though it is a legal form of it.
Your mom probably does not know however what an abortion can do to you- if she really did that alone would or should keep her from wanting that for you.
excessive bleeding and pain- up to a month
torn uterus
infections
miscarriages and sometimes future infertility
damage to internal organs
missed abortions-which mean more procedures are necessary.
Also tell her that there are many emotional risks- you will never forget your abortion- you do not want to do this- good for you- adoption is a great option- if it was not for that option I may not be here- my birthmom placed me for abortion- and also I have 2 adopted kids- whose moms chose life, even when family and friends tired to convince them to abort. What's the question?
Most abortions are performed (hopefully) before 8 weeks so it is certainly not a child..it's an embryo.
Regardless of that, if you cannot provide a stable loving home and are not financially stable, you shouldn't bring a child into the world. Did you know that from the time you start pre-natal care until the 1st birthday, you would have spent $20,000? Can you afford that? Can you really give a child everything it needs?

It is your body and your baby so only you can make the decision. You need to talk this through with your mum and explain your feelings. You can always put your baby for adoption if you do not want to or cannot take care of it yourself. Also try and talk to someone else you trust who you can discuss all the options with so you can make the choice clearly in your head. Whatever decision you make will have life changing consequences so take your time.

well if your minor your mom can make you get abortion and your mother has every right get upset because you ****** someone you now pregnant and if birth that child she one responible for it till your 18 and you people are wrong a parent can take child go have abortion eve n if child doesnt want oe parent can sign for medical proceedures

It is your right to do with your body what you please. She cannot force you to have an abortion. You have to make a decision, though, if you and your b/f (If he is still involved) can afford to properly raise a child, or if you want to give the baby up for adoption to someone that cannot have children of their own.
