when they show the possession arrow, team fouls, etc. near the end of the game, why is it called "game reset?"

It's basically saying "If we started the game right now, this would be the situation." It's all the crucial information you need to know when coming back from a commercial break.

I've alway thought "Reset" was a dumb term to use in that case... but yeah, it's just a summary of how many time outs each team has, how many fouls to give, and which team the possession arrow currently favors.

if ur talking about what i think ur talking about then thats for people who has missed damn near the whole game and just tuning in for the last few minutes. its giving them a update. usually the broadcaster'll say sosmething like if ur just tuning in so on and so on. but if thats not what ur talking about then im sorry i dont know and send me the answer once u do find out big pimping
