Sea cucumbers can defend themselves by squirting their sticky entrails over their attackers. I guess they then get away and grow new entrails...

...glad I'm not a sea cucumber.

Still if you think that's a good defence, vegetable cucumbers have a better one...Their flavour. What is the point of them?

Also, mercury apparently will form an amalgam which eats away at aluminium and that's why you're not allowed to take mercury thermometers onto aeroplanes.

And raindrops are round not 'teardrop' shaped.

I just found this out on Animal Hospital.

A kitten can die if it is infested with fleas, as the kitten is so small, the fleas actually suck out most of it's blood leaving it so dehydrated and anaemic that it can die. I never knew fleas could be so dangerous!!! The poor thing died in the end, despite attempts to save it.

Actually Lucifer, sharks are NOT immune to all diseases and unbeknown to alot of people, sharks DO actually get tumours and cancers etc.

Did you know that all polar bears are left handed and that polar bear fur is clear and hollow, not white, as one would assume?

Also, a cockroach can live for 8 days without a head. Until it starves to death.
