yes you can.
go to account settings then delete account
myspace will send an email to the email account you signed up with, so if thats not the email you recieve emails at you should change your email address on myspace before you get them to send the delete email to.
once your recieve the email you will have to click a confirm link to confirm you want the account deleted.

if you signed up for myspace with a fake email address or one that doesnt work anymore you can just delete everything on your myspace profile and change your name to DELETE THIS ACCOUNT and write that in the headline, about me, who i'd like to meet etc.
and eventually myspace staff will delete your account!

To delete your myspace account, log in to your account and click the Account Settings link next to your photo on your profile page. You will arrive at the Change Account Settings page.
