If you look Cristiano Ronaldo's world cup and aftermath was pretty good in the issue of performance but Zidane was only good at the World Cup but yet hes the best, Cannavaro in my opinion tackled good in match-fixed games (Juventus) and had a good world cup but his real defense came out in the later period of 06. Lampard was good except in International matches.. Drogba was good in the later period, so in my opinion it should go to... Michael Ballack..
